Dazr Browser terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026 · For the Dazr Browser app and browser.dazr.eu.
If a translation of this page differs from the English version, the English version applies.
Who you agree with
These terms are an agreement between you and Dazr, Viale Cesare Poggi 1, 15061 Arquata Scrivia (AL), Italy, VAT IT 02801250065 (“Dazr”, “we”). By using Dazr Browser you accept them. If you use Dazr Browser for an organisation, you accept them for that organisation and confirm that you may do so.
Licence
You may install and use the browser on as many devices as you like, for personal or commercial use, at no cost. You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it beyond what the law allows;
- distribute it under another name or brand;
- remove or change copyright notices or branding;
- use it for illegal activities.
Open-source components
The browser includes open-source components, such as Chromium, Ghostery’s ad-blocking engine and filter lists, under their own licences. Those licences apply to those components in addition to these terms.
Updates
The browser checks for updates every few hours. By default it downloads a new version in the background and installs it when you quit; you can turn this off in settings and install updates yourself. We release updates to fix security problems and bugs and to add features, but we do not promise them on any schedule. Keep the browser up to date: older versions can have security problems.
Websites and other services
The browser opens websites and uses services run by others, such as the search engine you choose, encrypted DNS and blocklists. They have their own terms and privacy policies. Ad blocking and privacy protection can stop some websites from working correctly; you can relax them per website in settings.
Fair use
Do not use our services to break the law, to send spam or malware, to infringe other people’s rights or to mislead people. Do not try to get around our limits or security checks, to overload our systems, or to test them for weaknesses without our permission. If you find a security problem, tell us at security@dazr.eu.
No warranty
We do our best to keep our services available and working well, but we provide them “as is”, without warranties beyond those the law requires, including EU consumer law. We do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors.
In particular, we are not responsible for data lost on your device, for websites that do not work because of ad blocking or privacy protection, or for services run by others.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Dazr is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Dazr Browser privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are heard by the courts of Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live give you the right to go to court there.
