A fast, private browser, made in Europe.
Dazr Browser blocks ads and trackers, hides your device fingerprint and sends nothing about you back to us. Built on Chromium, so websites work as you expect. Free, no account.
Free beta for Windows, macOS and Linux. Under 200 MB.

Imports your bookmarks on first launch. Chromium extensions install as unpacked extensions.
Private by default.
All of this is on from the first launch. Nothing to set up.
Websites read your screen size, fonts, graphics card and audio stack to fingerprint your computer. Dazr gives every site different values, so your visits can’t be linked.
Ads and tracking scripts are blocked before they load, with the Ghostery engine and the EasyList and EasyPrivacy lists. Built in, nothing to install.
HTTPS-only connections, encrypted DNS to European providers and Encrypted Client Hello. Your network sees that you are online, not where.
No analytics, no usage statistics, no crash reports. Apart from an update check and DNS lookups, the browser sends nothing back to us.
When a page asks where you are, for weather or maps, Dazr asks BeaconDB, a community-run European service, instead of Google.
Known phishing and malware sites are blocked before you type a password, using the open OpenPhish, PhishTank and URLhaus feeds.
Dazr answers the common cookie-consent pop-ups with “reject all” for you, and blocks third-party cookies.
Ctrl+Shift+N opens an isolated window. History, cookies and storage from it are wiped when you close it.

Yes means supported, Partly means limited or off by default, No means not supported. More context per browser is in the comparisons.
Made in Europe.
Every service the browser connects to runs on European infrastructure, under European law.
- Domain lookups
- dns0.eu, a non-profit DNS service in France and Germany, instead of Google or Cloudflare.
- Location lookups
- BeaconDB, a community-run European location service. Never Google.
- Ad and tracker blocking
- Ghostery’s open-source engine, made in Munich. The lists are bundled, so blocking runs on your device.
- Updates
- Builds and update checks come from European servers. The check carries nothing that identifies you.
- Your data
- No account and no sign-up. Your history and identity stay on your device.
- Ownership
- Dazr is an Italian company (VAT IT 02801250065). No investors, no ads, no data sales.
Questions, answered.
Is Dazr Browser free?
Yes, for everyone, with no paid tier and no account. We don’t sell ads or data, so there is nothing to pay for.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows (64-bit), macOS (Apple Silicon) and Linux (AppImage). Dazr is desktop-only today; mobile is on the roadmap. See all downloads.
Is it based on Chromium?
Yes. Websites work the same as in Chrome or Edge, and Chromium extensions can be installed as unpacked extensions. The Chrome Web Store itself is not built in.
Can I bring my bookmarks?
Yes. On first launch Dazr offers to import bookmarks from the browser you use now.
How does it update?
Dazr downloads new versions in the background and installs them when you close the browser, after verifying the checksum. You can turn this off in Settings, Advanced.
Does Dazr send anything to you?
Only an update check every 4 hours. DNS lookups go to the European DNS provider. There are no analytics, usage pings or crash reports.
Is it finished?
Dazr is in beta and improves with every release. If something could be better, write to support@dazr.eu.
Does it replace Tor Browser?
No. Dazr is a private everyday browser. If you need anonymity from the network itself, use Tor Browser.
